Smiles: a window into personality

In this talk, which was presented at the Nonverbal Behavior Preconference at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Annual Convention in 2022, I introduce new research demonstrating that smiles leak personality, and as a result, increase the accuracy of observers’ personality judgments.
